Facilitator of the Arts
Taylor Poer is a native of the Midwest and a recent graduate of Ball State University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Theatre Production - Stage Management. While focusing her studies in stage management, Taylor also sought out other learning opportunities that furthered her skills and became a lighting intern in Emens Auditorium. Through her experience backstage there, she expanded her talents as an electrician and a stagehand by getting to work on many of the shows that came through Emens on tour and from the surrounding local community.
Taylor has recently made the move to NYC to begin pursuing more professional opportunities and to expand her experiences even more. She is thrilled to be in the central hub of all things theatre and has already fallen in love with the city that never sleeps. She is pursuing every opportunity that comes along.
Taylor has always been captivated by the arts; from a young age, she loved watching all sorts of shows and performances and was involved in performances herself as a musician. As she grew up, Taylor found that having an artistic outlet that also centered around organization and management was the perfect way for her to express her thoughts, visions, and talents. She fell in love with stage management and hasn't looked back since. She is now an incredibly passionate stage manager and is ready to start collaborating with you on any projects you may have in mind.
Taylor is an avid reader, loves cross stitching and embroidery, will joyously pet any dog she meets, is obsessed with Pinterest, and her wardrobe was all black BEFORE she got into theatre.
